Radio MACFAST 90.4 grabs National Award

The second campus-based community radio service in the State, Radio Macfast-90.4, attached to the Mar Athanaseus College For Applied Sciences, Thiruvalla, has bagged the national award in the Audio Challenge contest jointly sponsored by the Union Ministry of Skill Development, National Skill Development Corporation, and Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia. According to a statement issued by the Radio Macfast here on Monday, the audio documentary, ‘Kalpaka-sringathil’, has won the award for the Radio Macfast from among 55 entries submitted by various community radio stations across the country.

The documentary was directed by former station director Late V. George Mathew. Sound mixing was done by V. Praveen, senior sound engineer, and narration by Sumesh Kumar.
